One Ticket to the museum and the Palm House

The Natural History Museum of Denmark is the national museum for natural history in Danmark. The Museum is beautifully situated in the corner of the Botanical Garden close to Nørreport Station.

Get access to a visit at the museum and the Palm House in the Botanical Garden with one ticket. The combo ticket is valid for 48 hours.

The ticket costs DKK 105 for adults and DKK 50 for children and can be bought at the entrance or online via our webshop.

Note: We only accept payment in DKK or by valid payment cards (VISA/dankort, VISA, Mastercard, Maestro, VISA electron, Amex).

Winter Vacation (week 7): Open all week incl. Monday at 10.00 – 17.00. Wednesday at 10.00 – 21.00.

Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, Common Prayer Day, Ascension Day and Danish Constitution Day: Open at 10.00 - 17.00

Easter Monday and Whit Monday: Open at 10.00 – 17.00.

Autumn Vacation (week 42): Open all week incl. Monday at 10.00 – 17.00. Wednesday at 10.00 – 21.00.

Special closing days:

December 24, 25, 26 and 31 plus January 1: Closed

 

For safety reasons, it is unfortunately not possible to bring you own prams and strollers in the exhibitions, and they must be placed outdoors in the museum's courtyard. As an alternative, you are welcome to borrowed a small umbrella stroller at the entrance.

Botanical Garden

OPENING HOURS IN THE GARDEN

  • October 1 – March 31: 8.30 – 16.00
  • April 1 – September 30: 8.30 – 18.00

Guide dogs are allowed in the garden, however other dogs and pets are not allowed.


Palm House in the Botanical Garden

OPENING HOURS

  • April 1 – September 30 
    Tuesday – Sunday: open at 10.00 – 17.00 (Entrance and ticket sales close at 16.45).
    Mondays are closed except in July and August where the Palm House is open 10.00 – 17.00.
     
  • October 1 – March 31 
    Tuesday – Sunday: open at 10.00 – 15.30 (Entrance and ticket sales close at 15.15).
    Mondays closed.

ADMISSION TO THE PALM HOUSE
Visiting the Botanical Garden is free, except for the Palm House where there is an entrance fee. Included in the fee is also a visit to the Butterfly House. Tickets are sold at the entrance to the Palm House:
