The nomenclature of all 53 species-group taxa of Sarcophagidae proposed by Louis Pandell , as well as six species-group taxa of this family proposed by other authors from specimens originating at least in part from the Pandell collection, is revised with lectotype designations where necessary. A total of 35 lectotypes are designated for nominal species proposed by Pandell , and a lectotype is designated for Pierretia pandellei Rohdendorf, 1937, which was proposed on specimens in Pandell s collection. Five new synonyms are proposed and two nominal species are removed from synonymy. Reversed precedence is recommended for Sarcophaga exuberans Pandell , 1896, syn. n. of Sarcophaga jacobsoni (Rohdendorf, 1937). Two sarcophagid genus-group taxa proposed by Pandell and 11 sarcophagid genus-group taxa with Pandell an nominal species as type species are reviewed.
