En ny svensk puckelfluga (Diptera: Phoridae)
Research output: Contribution to journal › Journal article › Research
The phorid fly, Dohrniphora cornuta Bigot 1857, is recorded for the first time in Sweden.
It is a synanthropic species with a cosmopolitan distribution. Several male specimens have
been recorded from indoor environments in different parts of Sweden. At least one of the
populations has been healthy for almost a year, despite several consecutive attempts of
eradication of the flies.
