Wild nature on campus

The Center for Macroecology, Evolution and Climate is supporting a new project on Nørre Campus, establishing four outdoor areas with native plant species representing Danish nature types. The project aims to inspire urban citizens to experience more of their local natural areas outside of the city and provide knowledge on Danish biodiversity. Finally, the areas will have a recreative purpose for students, staff, local residents and visitors. Nordea-fonden is supporting the project with ca. 1.6 mio. kr.
