The Natural History Museum of Denmark covers three visiting addresses:
the Zoological Museum, the Geological Museum and the Botanical Garden.
Each visiting address has different opening hours, access and entrance fees.

The Botanical Garden

  • 1 April - 30 September: 8.30 AM - 6 PM
  • 1 October - 31 March: 8.30 AM - 4 PM

The Palm House

  • 1 April - 30 September: 10 AM - 5 PM (Ticket sales close at 4.45 PM)
    • Monday closed
  • 1 October - 31 March: 10 AM - 3.30 PM
    • Monday closed

It is free to visit the Botanical Garden; except for The Palm House, where you have to pay an entrance fee.

Children (3-17 years): DKK 40
Children (0-3 years): Free
Students (with ID): DKK 40
Annual pass: Free entrance with a annual pass to the museum

Ticket offers


Joint ticket to the Natural History Museum of Denmark

With a joint ticket to the Natural History Museum of Denmark you will get easy access to three museum experiences. The ticket is valid for one day and gives you free access to both the Zoological Museum, Geological Museum and the Palm house in the Botanical Garden. 

A joint ticket costs: DKK 105 for adults and DKK 50 for children.

Annual Pass

  • Adults: DKK 210
  • Children: DKK 120 

Annual Pass DUO

  • Adults incl. guest: DKK 350
  • Children incl. guest: DKK 250

The Combined Ticket for Parkmuseerne

Natural History Museum of Denmark (Geological Museum and the Botanical Garden) is together with The Hirschsprung Collection, SMK (National Gallery of Denmark), Rosenborg Castle, The David Collection and the Workers Museum a part of Parkmuseerne: 

The combined ticket for Parkmuseerne gives you admittance to all of the six museums:

  • 1 Ticket - 6 Museum
  • Price: DKK 245
  • Period: The ticket is valid for a year, starting from the day of purchase
  • Admission: The ticket gives admission to one visit to each museum and is personal. 


Please note that the Zoological Museum is not at part of Parkmuseerne.

NB. The Cinematheque left the Parkmuseerne 1 January 2019. If you bought a Parkmuseerne ticket in 2018, you can still use the ticket at the Cinematheque within the ticket’s period of validity. However, from 15 January you can also choose to use it at the Workers Museum instead of at the Cinematheque.
