Magical dance performance in the Botanical Garden

With world-class urban dancers
8 to 11 December 2021

Experience when the magic is brought to life in the Botanical Garden after closing time with an urban dance performance that is beautifully staged with lights in one of the garden's greenhouses. The performance is seen from the outside through the glass and consists of three highly contemporary solos with world-class dancers. The program is specifically designed for the Botanical Garden and can only be experienced for four days in December 2021.

  • WE ARE THE TRANSHUMANISTS explores the physical and mental states of transhumanism through extremely articulated popping.
     
  • EXTINCTION REBELLION is a call for environment and power expressed through breakdance, acrobatics and visceral urban dance styles.
     
  • IMMORTALITY is a unique blend of butoh and breakdance - a thoughtful, dreamy and transformative journey to renewal and immortality.


We will serve a free hot beverage during the performance.

The internationally recognized dance company NEXT ZONE is behind this arrangement in collaboration with the Botanical Garden, the Natural History Museum of Denmark. Since 2001, the company has produced performances with support from the Danish Arts Foundation and is touring internationally and in Denmark.

Practical Information

Date and Time: Performance every day from 8 to 11 December 2021 form 5 pm to 6 pm.

Price for the performance with three dance solos and a hot beverage:
Adult DKK 130  //  Young under 27 years DKK 110  //  Annual Pass DKK 110 (+ booking fee)

Setup: Outdoor, standing performance.

Corona Pass is currently not required for this event, which takes place outside in the Botanical Garden. However, the official guidelines of the authorities may change on an ongoing basis, and we therefore encourage you to check the website here prior to participation. See current guidelines.

Place: The main entrance to the Botanical Garden near Nørreport Station (Gothersgade 128). Please show your ticket in person. The performance starts on time, and for practical reasons you can not join later.

NOTE.  Under normal circumstances, it is not possible to exchange or refund tickets for the performance. Should the event be canceled, you will be notified directly by email from Billetto, and we will automatically refund the ticket price. The booking fee is non-refundable.
