Systematics and phylogeny of Tardigrada, Loricifera, Cycliophora, Micrognathozoa and several other meiofaunal groups. Recently published the description and the molecular data (18S rRNA) of the new phylum Cycliophora in Nature together with Drs. Peter Funch, Birgitta Winnepenninckx and Thierry Backeljau A new group of microscopical animals, Micrognathozoa , from a cold spring at Disko Island has been described in the October number, 2000 of Journal of Morphology. Galathea3 - head of project: The benthic fauna of the continental slopes of the Solomon Sea and on the shelf of the Solomon Islands - an investigation of marine biodiversity.
CurationCuratorial responsibility for the Zoologisk Museum's collections of Acanthocephala, Cycliophora, Gastrotricha, Gnathostomulida, Kinorhyncha , Loricifera, Mesozoa, Micrognathozoa, Nematoda, Nematomorpha, Nemertini, Onychophora, Pentastomulida, Platyhelminthes, Priapulida, Rotifera and Tardigrada.
