Centres at the Natural History Museum

The Natural History Museum is (co)hosting the following centres:

Centre for GeoGenetics

The centre's research focuses on modern and ancient DNA. We use state-of-the-art techniques in the study of prehistoric migrations, large animals' mass extinctions and climate change.
Centre for Star and Planet Formation

How did the terrestrial planets form, and were there special circumstances that allowed for the preservation of water worlds like Earth where life has been thriving for nearly 4 billion years?
Center for Macroecology, Evolution and Climate

The center integrates terrestrial and marine research in a cross-disciplinary research program addressing fundamental questions on the origin, maintenance, conservation and future of life and biological diversity on Earth.
